Aquia Harbour is the premier gated community of Stafford County, Virginia. We are located approximately 45 miles south of Washington DC, 15 miles north of Fredericksburg and 70 miles north of Richmond. The historic Aquia Creek runs through our community providing a year-round navigable waterway leading to the Potomac River and on to the Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful woodlands surround our homes and give the community the feel of a delightful country setting. “The Harbour”, as we often refer to our community, encompasses over 2,000 acres including 400 acres of protected wetlands. Wildlife abounds; you can watch osprey fish the creek and see deer feeding in the surrounding forest. We are far enough away from the city to see a myriad of stars light the evening skies but close enough to be visiting the sites of Washington, DC in under an hour.

Storm Damage – It looks like we had a few isolated microbursts and some park flooding but other than that this last storm wasn’t too bad.

Dredging – Update on Research. Looking for ways to offset costs. In general I am speaking with a lot of dredging and waterway experts to determine how to properly plan for dredging and how to find ways to offset the costs through cost sharing and...

It pains me to report that the company we hired to create our integrated website and online payment option has failed and failed miserably. Too many excuses, not enough support and too many deadlines have passed. We had to cut them loose and move on to our back up plan. The company fully admits that the fault is theirs, which isn't much help but at least its honorable. We refused to send the last two payments when we saw which way the wind was blowing so what they have is our down payment. We have requested that down payment back in full and have all the documentation we need to justify it. So, disregard those website sign in codes we sent you.

Plan B is not an integrated system which was not the plan, but it’s cheaper, easier/faster to set up and will do what we need it to do - online account management and payments. They've asked for 45 days to get set up and they know that is all they will get. I have had enough of this BS where deadlines are treated as mere suggestions. We...
