Aquia Harbour is the premier gated community of Stafford County, Virginia. We are located approximately 45 miles south of Washington DC, 15 miles north of Fredericksburg and 70 miles north of Richmond. The historic Aquia Creek runs through our community providing a year-round navigable waterway leading to the Potomac River and on to the Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful woodlands surround our homes and give the community the feel of a delightful country setting. “The Harbour”, as we often refer to our community, encompasses over 2,000 acres including 400 acres of protected wetlands. Wildlife abounds; you can watch osprey fish the creek and see deer feeding in the surrounding forest. We are far enough away from the city to see a myriad of stars light the evening skies but close enough to be visiting the sites of Washington, DC in under an hour.

The Law Enforcement Unity riders will be departing from Rt. 1 & 610 area at around 6AM (not 7am). You can expect the intersection of Rt.1 and AH to be shut down tomorrow roughly between 5:45am - 6:30am. We are not able to give an exact time frame for the 15-20 minutes it will take for them to clear the intersection and head north on Rt. 1 to Prince William. This window is best we can do based on the information we have been provided.

You have a few options:

Leave the Harbour BEFORE 5:30 or AFTER 6:30.

Use the Back Gate (3242 Titanic) The BACK GATE will be open from 5:30am to 7am. Once you reach the back gate program your gps to 3987 Jefferson Davis Highway and you'll be directed to the Boswell Corner area of Rt. 1 via Telegraph Road. If you exit the back gate any later than 6am you still run the risk of being delayed by the convoy as they pass Boswells Corner.

Thank you for being considerate of the officers who ride for our fallen officers and please share this with has many...
