    • Recycling and Yard Waste - Monday
    • Trash - Tuesday
    County Waste will provide Recycling and waste removal services on all holidays with the exception of those holidays observed by the closing of Stafford County Landfill. Current holidays observed are The 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

    Any special pick-ups for the removal of white goods, such as stoves, washing machines, refrigerators, furniture etc., or any refuse not considered normal household trash shall be the responsibility of the homeowner to call in and arrange with County Waste for a fee.

    County Waste will also make available to residents at no charge an environmentally friendly wheeled grass clippings cart for disposal of grass clippings. This will enable residents not to have to bag their grass clippings, and the ability to just wheel to the street on yard waste collection day. You can call the customer service number below to order your cart.

    Place carts on street prior to 6:00 a.m. on day of pick up.

    Missed pick-ups should be called in to the AHPOA business office by 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday - (540) 659-3050.
