Aquia Harbour

Aquia Harbour is the premier gated community of Stafford County, Virginia. We are located approximately 45 miles south of Washington DC, 15 miles north of Fredericksburg and 70 miles north of Richmond. The historic Aquia Creek runs through our community providing a year-round navigable waterway leading to the Potomac River and on to the Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful woodlands surround our homes and give the community the feel of a delightful country setting. “The Harbour”, as we often refer to our community, encompasses over 2,000 acres including 400 acres of protected wetlands. Wildlife abounds; you can watch osprey fish the creek and see deer feeding in the surrounding forest. We are far enough away from the city to see a myriad of stars light the evening skies but close enough to be visiting the sites of Washington, DC in under an hour.

Road rejuvination will begin Monday but the street sweepers will be in over the weekend to give the affected Coves a good sweeping so please remove vehicles from affected Coves (parking pads are okay just no tires touching the pavement).

Important - Once they start on an area, it takes 30 minutes for the surface to dry. Traffic will be directed around the affected area for these 30 minutes> There will be no total road shut downs though traffic will be diverted to JPJ when they do Richmond.

Drive slowly if you find you have to drive over freshly treated areas (say for instance to cross into your driveway).

Keep pets and kids off freshly treated areas.

Pavement must be dry so please dont use sprinklers or wash your car if you are in an affected area (see map).
Gator Paving cannot tell you exactly which day they will be where but they have broken it into 3 phases starting from the back of the neighborhood and moving forward over 8 days so you will will generally be able to tell where...
