    Neighborhood – Kayak launch in at Delaware, Front AH Wall cleaned and extended, new stone grill at Briarpatch, excellent job by Marina Glen and crew building the S.S. Aquia Harbour Barge, summer activities: swim lessons, horse camp, jr. golf camp.

    Aquia Town Center: AHPOA President Mr. Greene, the GM and several other Aquia Harbour residents spoke at the Stafford Board Meeting regarding the status of the Town Center. The vote on the requested tax incentives to continue the program will be taken on July 5th at the Stafford BoCS Meeting 1300 Courthouse Road. 3pm & 7pm

    Town Hall Meeting 6/26 - Electronic Decal. The time line was laid out to go live starting with the Town Hall Meeting on Monday 6/26 7p Harbour Inn, then the distribution of the electronic decals – first pick up/then mail, then testing and the target date to go live is 7/17. Front Gate 24/7 – Back Gate Situational Opening Only.

    Engineering Plan for front gate: Regardless of the result of the County vote on July 5th the GM will be meeting with Mosaic to discuss screening on Washington Drive along the Aquia Town Center.

    Broyhill Court request – Waiting on the attorney to evaluate the swatch of land offer from Broyhill Ct. Stafford values the detached swatch at $0, we are being offered $500.


    July 4th Festivities – The Harbour Events Committee and Public Safety have us ready to go and have secured local celebrity Stafford Sheriff’s Lt. Deuntay Diggs to be in the parade and sing the National Anthem at Lions Park at the end of the parade. What a great GET.

    FY 19 Budget Process – A more comprehensive budget process was laid by the GM with the objective to start earlier, insure time for resident review and input and minimize contention was put forth and several suggestions were made for tweaking.

    IT Website & Integrated software - Global Northstar Club Management Website and Software – The start-up cost on this software that will integrate all things AHPOA from amenities to online bill payment to and AHPOA app, to website to reservations to budget analysis and on and on is $73k. Money has already been set aside in reserves to cover the replacement of the multiple systems currently in use. Annual cost is 21K. We currently pay $16k for the dated systems we use now. We will be setting up a demonstration of the program for Directors and residents before making a decision.

    Accounting Manual Updates – Budget Process (already discussed) and Board Director incentive action (under review by attorney).

    Fish & Game Charter – Unclear about the charter vs. attachment. Expect discussion.

    Proxy voting procedures – Waiting the for the lawyer prepared resolution regarding the need for one or both signatures.

    Nominating Procedure – Differences about what should be required. Expect discussion.

    Harbour Inn – Since we are not replacing it we continue our mission to perk it up. Next up painting and hard flooring – est. $20k covered in already saved reserve funds. Architect out next week to provide some conceptual suggestions about updating the outside (cost $0).
