    It looks like its really coming this time folks. We are solidly in the 4-6" range. The worst of it will be from 8am Wed to 4pm Wed. The rain has eliminated the option of pre-treatment. School closings are expected. Please stay home if you can. If you can't, check for road condition updates in the following locations;

    • Clear completely clear all COVES of vehicles tonight. Park at the end of your driveway if need by to leave the circle clear so the plows can make a full circle.

    • If you will stay off of the roads during the snow fall, Wes and his road crew will have our roads as clear as possible in record time. If you don’t stay off the roads, the vehicle travel will pack the snow down making removal much more cumbersome. I'm hopeful that ground temps will be too warm for sticking but I don't know that that's a realistic hope.

    • Richmond Drive will close as soon as it gets slick so plan to use John Paul Jones Drive as an alternative.

    • Please do not let inexperienced drivers drive in this kind of tricky weather.
