The Mid Potomac Sail and Power Squadron’s (MPSPS) Commander, Marla Spath, cordially invites boating enthusiasts of all degrees to join us for a very interesting and educational guest speaker for our Monthly General Membership meeting in October. Our October 9th; 7:00 P.M. speaker will be Steven ‘Ship’ Shipley of Aquia Harbour, a long-time avid boater (canoe to yacht), whose topic will be: Weather Prep, Just do it! or how to prepare for Mother Nature in just a few easy steps. Our meeting will be at the Harbour Inn Community Center at 1417 Washington Drive.

MPSPS is part of America’s Boating Club, the United States Power Squadrons (USPS), America’s largest and oldest nonprofit recreational / educational boating organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching desirable classes in basic boating, seamanship, navigation and related skills. We invite you to join our family by promoting safe boating through education and participating with us in a wide variety of social activities both on and off the water. For more information contact Sam Edelman, MPSPS Admin Officer at ese006@gmail.com or see us on the web at: http://www.midpotomac.org and on FaceBook - Mid Potomac Sail and Power Squadron.
