The Aquia Harbour POA is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete road striping of recently paved roads. The scope of work and requirements include single line shoulder striping on both sides of each road and yellow single centerline striping on the following roads and also include some crosswalks and stop bars.
Harbour Drive (0.64 miles or 1,126.40 linear yards)
Dewey Drive (0.40 miles or 704 linear yards)
Midshipman Drive (.59 miles or 1,038.40 linear yards)
Midshipman Circle (.28 miles or 492.80 linear yards)
Street leading into Bay Cove (.10 miles or 176.00 linear yards)
Street leading into Sail Cove (.11 miles or 193.60 linear yards)

Proposals are invited from qualified engineers to conduct a bathymetric survey with volume computations of Aquia Creek at four critical locations (Aquia Bridge, Crown Manor, Austin Run and Delaware Drive). Gator Paving has informed us that half of Dewey Drive was milled today and the remaining half will be milled on Monday. Please remember that cars must not be parked on the sides of the roads and cars that are parked in the driveway should be at least 6′ from the road to allow passage of heavy equipment.
Wednesday, July 20 – Pave Harbour Drive
Thursday, July 21, and Friday, July 22 – Mill and pave Dewey Drive
