Aquia Harbour is the premier gated community of Stafford County, Virginia. We are located approximately 45 miles south of Washington DC, 15 miles north of Fredericksburg and 70 miles north of Richmond. The historic Aquia Creek runs through our community providing a year-round navigable waterway leading to the Potomac River and on to the Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful woodlands surround our homes and give the community the feel of a delightful country setting. “The Harbour”, as we often refer to our community, encompasses over 2,000 acres including 400 acres of protected wetlands. Wildlife abounds; you can watch osprey fish the creek and see deer feeding in the surrounding forest. We are far enough away from the city to see a myriad of stars light the evening skies but close enough to be visiting the sites of Washington, DC in under an hour.

Good Morning Stafford & Aquia Harbour!

Hope this message finds you safe & sound given the strange times we are currently living through.

This post addresses ~ Sane Call in Ordering at The Clubhouse
Order EARLY – tell us when you want it!
This is a longer post than usual, fair warning ☺
Many folks are ordering Curbside Pick-Up & Delivery and we are so grateful!
We want to give the BEST service humanly possible! We know you are calling!
Please keep in mind
• We are a physically small kitchen and we cook to order. Our food is fresh on purpose ☺
• We are on a skeleton crew for a few reasons:
➢ Keep people contact down
➢ More crew given the “new norm” of curbside and delivery in our small
establishment crowds the kitchen, so more is not better.
• Our 2 phone lines are overwhelmed between 4-7p.
➢ We are picking up as many calls as we can. We have 2 crew members answering phones, returning voice mail messages, and replying to FB messages.
However, between 4-7p this is a HUGE challenge....

Message from the Harbour Events Club:

We have been asked by Trish Harman to be the collector and the dispensing mechanism for donations coming in for Harbour residents needing help during the COVID-19 related shutdowns. We have started a PayPal account which is seen using the email address of HEC.Treasurer@yahoo.com. We also have an email account, HEC.TRT@yahoo.com, setup for those asking for a donation. The monies collected will be used for groceries and gas. Please pass this on to anyone in need and anyone wanting to donate.

Based upon the severe risk COVID-19 poses, the Golf Pro Shop will close at end of business Saturday March 21st and will remain closed until April 4th. We will re-assess the risk and make further determinations going forward.

The Golf Course itself, will remain open to all current golf members. The Golf Cart Fleet will not be available for use, however, private golf cart owners may use their carts at their own risk. Members choosing to walk the course may do so at their own risk.

Utilizing the course by residents of Aquia Harbour to play FootGolf after 11am is also permitted. Following CDC guidelines is recommended.
