    All operations are up and running in one form or another.
    Once a week I supplement my work from home by spending a few hours on the road in the community to see what I can see and check on our essential employees. This week’s ride was especially nice, as the Harbour is in full bloom and the yard work being done in this down time is quite evident! Nicely done.

    DUES A reminder that as of April 1st, dues are $133 a month or $1596 for the year. If you are paying monthly, your April dues should include the $40 surcharge unless you are ACH through AHPOA which waives the $40 surcharge (as does paying the dues annually). Questions about your account? Email memberservices@aquiaharbour.orgor call the Business Office at 540-659-3050 (calls are forwarded to the GM when staff is not in the office). COVID19 Relief applications are located at the food pantry and the police station for residents needing assistance.

    Amenities

    Golf Course – The Pro Shop will remain closed but course itself is open (starting May 1st) , 5 days a week Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat-Sun. 10a – 6pm. One employee staff’s the Pro Shop to take tee times and fees over the phone 540-659-4478. One employee works outside assigning and disinfecting golf carts. One cart per person unless you reside in the same residence.

    Country Club – The Clubhouse Restaurant continues to offer curb side take out and free delivery inside the neighborhood. Delivery and curbside options include beer and wine. 540-288-0091.     Marina – The Marina (540-659-4232) and boat ramp are open and the kayak launch has been repaired. The Marina Office will continue to keep regular hours on Saturday and Sunday with no more than one visitor at a time inside the ship store. Canoe and kayak storage fees and stickers are due now and should be paid at the Marina Office on the weekend. Those who have stored unregistered kayaks and john boats at the Marina or at the offsite kayak storage on Delaware Drive please register it at the marina or move it ASAP.

    DONATIONS – Pay Pal HEC.treasurer@yahoo.com The Harbour Events Club will be the collection point for monetary donations to help Aquia Harbour residents affected by the COVID19 health crisis. Those in need should send an email to HEC.TRT@yahoo.com to request assistance. Those who wish to donate can go to Pay Pal and “send money” to HEC.treasurer@yahoo.com. This fund will mostly be used for our volunteers to purchase groceries for those in need. Any funds remaining at the end of this, will stay with the Harbour Events Club (HEC) and will go to fund neighborhood events and activities. Thank you for your generosity and thank you HEC.

    PANTRY – The Pantry set up by our Girl Scouts Troop 412 and stocked by the most generous neighbors everywhere is proving to be such help to this community. It is located at the Harbour Inn 1417 Washington Drive, open from 9-5 daily for Harbour residents and can save you a risky trip to a crowded grocery store so please use it. It’s free. Give what you can, take what you need.

    SENIORS BANNERS – It’s heart breaking that our graduating seniors are missing out on so much tradition but please feel ree to let the banners fly!! No office approval needed.
